Moving!
Hi guys!
I know I haven't been posting anything in a while and that is because I have been having major technical difficulties. Just to give you a taste, I couldn't access my account for months. That is why I am moving this blog to another location which I will post shortly. Basically everything will get a bit of a make over and perhaps I will have more luck putting things up every week. Maybe even a twitter! Talk to you soon and expect a new address in a few days.
Stay Beautiful!

First Impression!
Hi! So today I bought the Maybelline EyeStudio cream eyeshadow trio in number 20 Purple Possibilities. Right from the start I thought the colours were so pretty, they are not very pigmented which I do like because I feel like my eye shape and type does not take to very pigmented colours. The reason I bought purple is because I have some absolutely gorgeous purple powder eye shadows but it takes a while to put them on just because they are so very sheer and I thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to do some layering! But honestly, these cream eye shadows are so pretty that you can wear them on their own, and I probably will do that as well. They feel very soft so far, because I have tried them already (I am not going to put a picture up yet, I want to wear them first and then do a full review). The packaging is very nice. although it is plastic but it is very simple and down-plays the plastic case which is always good because it doesn't look too too cheap. I have no problem with drugstore make up I think it is worth looking into because you might find something quite good!
Here are some cons that I found right away, before I even paid for these shadows. The shadows don't have names! And maybe this is a little silly but I like when individual shadows have names I feel like it makes them more fun to wear. For me the packaging is a little awkward to open (but it could just be me), I always feel like it might slip out of my hands and fall!
This is my first impression of this eyeshadow trio! Hopefully this ends up being a good purchase! Watch out for a review very soon!
Feel beautiful and remember, make up is there to enhance your beauty not to create it!

Favourite Perfumes and Seasons!
Hello! It has been sooo long and I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to put something up! But school is crazy and I was just so busy so please forgive me for not finding the time to post on here! Summer is soon so bare with me! =)
So here we are on the topic of perfumes! And seasons!! So what does that mean exactly? Simply it means that I will tell you some of my favourite perfumes and when to wear them. Keep in mind I am not an expert this is just a personal opinion based on observations of the way scents react to my body during different times of the year. Here we go...
1. Burberry Brit: Why do I love it? It was my first big girl fragrance! I got it for Christmas one year as a gift as a result of a complete obsession months before! I had a teeny tiny sample of it and it just drove me nuts I had to have it! And still it is my favourite perfume to this day, years and years later. I think its fantastic and I love it! It doesn't smell like your ordinary girly perfume I feel it has quite a personality (if I can describe a scent in that way) it is a very chic smell and not too old so appropriate for late teens and way into your twenties and even thirties I would say. Wear this perfume in the summer! It does great in the heat, at least that is what I find works better for me.
2. Burberry London: Wow another Burberry? You bet! Can you tell I'm a little obsessed? This is great for winter! It has more of a sweet smell but you can definitely feel that distinct Burberry scent come through. Again this was a Christmas present and that is a very funny coincidence! What I like about the two Burberry perfumes is that there is a bitterness to the scent which doesn't make it too girly and flowery but really feminine and sexy and it just makes you feel so confident. Burberry is my number one go to fragrance! I don't expect anyone to love them as much as I do, but I do feel that they would make a good purchase because they are good quality and the lasting power is very good.
3. D&G The One: This perfume lasts and lasts and lasts and I could go on for days telling you how long it lasts. You spray a little on in the morning and by the end of the day you can still smell it! By far this is the only perfume that I own that has such a great lasting ability which I think makes it a great summer purchase! It smells wonderful in the summer, so wonderful that I even have a story about it! One day I was standing outside during summer. The weather was warm and there was a little breeze and I think to myself "wow the air smells like flowers its so good!" Later when I concentrated on the smell I actually realised that it was The One that I put on in the morning before leaving my house. That is how good it smells. Very feminine and very beautiful, I would not recommend this fragrance to teenagers since it is a bit more of a grown up fragrance. If this is something that you like, invest in the D&G The One perfume, it is a really great purchase! Make sure to wear it in the summer because I wasn't too crazy for how it smelled during the winter. But that's just my opinion.
4. Vera Wang Princess: I got obsessed with this perfume after seeing Camilla Belle advertising it in a magazine! The magazine also came with a little sample. Princess as I found out was the perfect young, sweet, fresh and girly perfume for those light days when you just want to giggle and run around! This is a perfume I can see a young girl wearing, no one in there tween years but definitely teenagers. You can wear it in your twenties too! I did! It is a very young scent, a kind of t-shirt and jeans kind of scent at least that is what I equate it with in my mind. This fragrance is not grown up at all! It brings out your youth! This fragrance I like wearing both during winter and summer and I feel like it doesn't change that much on my skin, so I would definitely recommend it to those who are looking for a fragrance that they can use during any season! Also, this is a great gift! The scent is very basic not too strong meaning it will not be irritating and its easy to like!

5. Harajuku Lovers: I feel like all the scents in that collection are wonderful. I can't pick just one! But just like the Princess fragrance I feel like they are great for summer and winter and would make a great present! All the scents are very girly and not too sophisticated so it makes them really easy to wear. The lasting power is not that great and I wish it would be. I guess this would be the only reason I would say perhaps to not purchase the fragrances (or just one of them) unless you have a bit more money to spend because you use it up pretty quickly and you don't really get the quality that you pay for.
These are my five favourite fragrances! I hope this was helpful in telling you what fragrance to choose maybe for this summer or next winter! I am definitely a person who loves playing around with fragrances and I can't choose just one to live with, I always have to change them up every few weeks. There are some scents that I did not mention for the reason that they were simply from regular stores and were for a limited time. So if you are anything like me you probably have some cheaper fragrances in your collection simply because you love smelling different everyday. However if you are the kind of person that does not like to have a million different scents, I would strongly suggest investing in a good long lasting perfume that will really be a good quality purchase.
Always feel beautiful, embrace change and face it head on!

Some Updates!
I apologise for not posting any new blogs in about a week now. I have been swamped with school work and am just now scrambling out from under the piles of all that work. As I write this, I can honestly tell you that I am tired! But I wanted to do a little update for you about what kind of blogs you can expect in the near future!
My skin care routine will definitely be one of the blogs that will be posted very soon. I talk about my cleansers and moisturizer and scrub and all that good stuff. So keep checking back for that!
I will talk about a favourite lipstick brand that I was introduced to through watching a beauty guru on YouTube. This was very exciting and new for me and I have accumulated around four lipsticks in very different colours and have used them extensively! So I am well equipped to tell you all about them and all the reasons why I think they are a great purchase.
A list of favourite perfumes! I love perfumes! I am a fragrance girl and although I do have a favourite scent that for me stands out from the rest I still love to try many, many different fragrances. So look out for that blog, I will also tell you what perfumes I think are best for the summer and which are better for the winter! Incorporating a few tips and tricks I gathered a long the way.
So far these are the blogs that I will be doing in the near future. Sometime after these blogs, I am planning on doing something eye make up related. So please check back for updates on that, I plan to have pictures and swatches for you. I also plan to zero in on the brown eye colour and show how versatile it truly is. I promise it will be fun!!

About Me!
I decided, after about three blog posts, to put up something about myself and the reason why I created this blog! So here is my mini blog-ography...
I am a university student who believes that looking your best everyday doesn’t start with putting on a ton of make up. The reason I created this blog in the first place is so that I can give tips and tricks on how to look good without constantly having to rely on make up. Things like eating right, using the right cleansers for your skin, etc are the things that are really important to me. But I know like any girl does that make up is fun and exciting and you can’t just simply cross it out of your life. So I decided to give advice to the cautious make up users out there (like myself) on how you can minimize your make up but still look great, polished and put together whether you are at an office, at a party, at school or simply out with friends on a picnic!
I started wearing make up quite late, my proper make up routine started when I was in my first year of university (as I said quite late) and that didn’t even include foundation. All I wore was eye shadow, mascara, blush and some lip-gloss. I came to realize as years went on that for a lot of young girls not wearing make up was disastrous to the point where they wouldn’t go to a grocery store without something on. That saddens me a little because youth is just about that, looking youthful. My childhood was very different, I wasn’t allowed to wear lots of make up because it seemed unnecessary for someone so young to cover up. Plus I felt really uncomfortable and even somewhat self conscious if I did wear it. I felt like everyone was looking at me. As the years went on I realised that life can go on without lots of make up, and that we shouldn’t feel self conscious about our skin because we are all beautiful. And believe me we all have our imperfections! Now in my twenties I do wear some make up, no foundation still although I do use tinted moisturizer. And these are the years where I felt I needed to look a bit more put together and grown up and I feel like these are the years where I started to appreciate what make up can do for me. I like make up very much, my philosophy is simply that make up shouldn’t be the only thing that makes you beautiful!
Aside from all of that another reason why I created this blog is because I love to write. And what better way to do that than to combine it with something I love to write about. I sincerely hope that people can enjoy my blog and will find it useful!
Always feel beautiful!
Red Lips Tips
The oh-so-classic red lip has not gone out of style just yet. There is still some time left to feel like you are part of the old Hollywood glamour. However many girls and women feel that a red lip just isn’t for them, maybe it is too bold, or too daring or too inappropriate for everyday life or work. I will go over a few ways (like a true red lip fanatic) that will make you feel comfortable in the colour both day and night.
For me the secret has always been in the shade of red and the opacity of the colour. No one says that you have to look like Marilyn Monroe everyday at the office, but a red lip always adds a mystery to your look and always looks chic. So what happens if you love the colour but feel that you can’t wear it unless you are going out at night? The solution to that problem is simple, put away your big, bold reds and take out those sheer red glosses and lipsticks that you thought never gave you enough colour. Wearing a red lip does not always mean that you have to look like you’ve decided to match the fire-hydrant, a red that will enhance your natural lip colour be it dark or light will always give you that fresh, youthful look. Just use a lipstick or a gloss with a sheer wash of colour with no lip pencil underneath. This look is easy to pair with neutral eyes, or just some mascara and blush.
This look is simple and fresh and can be done in practically five minutes which is great for someone that is on-the-go. It can even work for high school students who want to look fresh and clean in the morning when they come to school. This kind of makeup is great for travelling.
Another tip for wearing red lipstick is: stop being afraid of wearing red lipstick! There is nothing wrong if you go out with your friends during the day and you are sporting a perfect, red pout. Just remember, who cares if you think that people are staring at you! Probably they are but not because they think you look awkward instead they are admiring you for your courageous and outgoing personality. Who else will have the guts to sport such a look in broad day light!
Just remember, when wearing a colour that is opaque fill your lips in or simply outline them with a lip pencil this way you prevent feathering and make your lipstick last longer. It is best to pair red lips with a neutral eye for day and for night you can do the classic pin up! Wearing red lipstick can be a fun and outgoing experience in any girls or woman’s life.
Red lips are fun, flirty, fresh and sophisticated; the way you want to wear it depends entirely on the mood you are in. Red lipstick compliments every woman in many different ways; it speaks the universal language of beauty and due to all the different shades can match any skin tone or colour perfectly. So don’t be afraid, whether you want to look young and fresh or bold and daring a red lipstick will always be the equivalent to the little black dress; every girls ‘gotta’ have one!
